Answers to the most common questions, and how to reach us when you need a person.

Backing up your data

Deyloq stores everything on your device. To keep a copy, open Settings → Sync & Backup and save a backup: Save or share… on iPhone and iPad, Save to device or Share… on Android. Deyloq creates one file with all of your data, including attachments and images, so you can keep it in Files, a folder on your device, a cloud drive or wherever you like.

In the app, the same screen also lists the automatic safety copies Deyloq keeps on your device; you can restore one from there.

Moving to a new device

  1. On your current device, save a backup as described above.
  2. Install Deyloq on the new device and open it.
  3. Go to Settings → Sync & Backup → Restore from backup and choose the backup file.

Restoring replaces everything on the new device with the contents of the backup, so it needs an active plan: if the 7-day evaluation has ended there, choose a plan or tap Restore purchases first. Saving backups and exporting always work. Deyloq does not sync automatically between devices.

Exporting notes and writing

Open Settings → Export Data → Export notes & writing to save all of your notes and documents as one Markdown file. Attachments are only included in the full backup.

Changing the language

Deyloq follows your device language on first launch. To change it, open Settings → Language and choose English, Español or Português (Brasil).

Changing the theme

Open Settings → Appearance and choose one of ten themes: Deyloq Violet, Midnight Aurora, Midnight, Pure Black, Graphite, Aqua, Rose, Ember, Cloud Blue and Lavender.

Starting over

To delete everything and start fresh, see Delete your data.

Purchases

Your first 7 days are a free evaluation with no automatic charge; after that, choose a plan to keep making changes. You’ll find your plan in Settings → Manage Subscription, including Restore purchases after reinstalling or on a new device with the same store account. Subscriptions are managed — and refunds requested — through your App Store or Google Play account.
